ProFound is an immersive dance program designed to elevate the artistry in dancers across Australia. This unique initiative brings together a diverse range of dance educators, offering you the rare opportunity and insight to collaborate with some of the industry’s most esteemed choreographers, directors and dance artists.
Participants will engage in intensive, long-term sessions that delve deep into the multifaceted world of dance. The program covers a broad spectrum of dance disciplines, including:
- Live Theatre
- Commercial Dance
- Movement Direction
- Contemporary Dance and More
Each session is crafted to push the boundaries of traditional dance training. Dancers will explore and master various styles, techniques, and performance nuances, guided by choreographers who are leaders in their respective fields. This approach ensures that participants not only refine their technical skills but also develop a profound understanding of the emotional and expressive dimensions of dance.
ProFound aims to be a transformative path that encourages dancers to break through the surface. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, the program’s objective is to solidify creativity, innovation, and a lifelong connection to dance, arts and theatre.
During the program you will learn choreographed dance works by our selected faculty choreographers; including guest intensives with highly regarded industry professionals. These works will be presented and performed in a theatre setting with invited industry leaders from the commercial, contemporary and theatre dance landscapes; including producers, directors and agents.
ProFound is designed for pre-professional and aspiring professional dancers.
Entry into the ProFound program is by audition only.
